Pakistan: Bomb found near Jungshahi railway station, defused

Islamabad, Apr 14 (IBNS): Averting a possible attack, authorities found and defused a bomb planted on a rail track near the Jungshahi railway station in Thatta area of Pakistan, media reports said on Sunday.

Authorities found the bomb on a train track leading to Karachi.

The bomb was discovered three kilometres from the Jungshahi railway station in Thatta, reports said.

A bomb disposal squad dispatched from Hyderabad safely defused the 0.5kg bomb, SSP Thatta Shabbir Sethar was quoted as saying by Geo News.

Seven suspects were taken into custody following the incident, police official was quoted as saying by the news channel.
