Pakistan: Hand grenade explodes inside house located close to Afghanistan border, two children among three injured

A hand grenade exploded inside a house in Qila Abdullah, a Pakistani border district located close to Afghanistan, leaving three people, including two children, injured.

Levies officials told Dawn News that the incident occurred on Sunday in the Habibzai area of the district, where unknown armed men hurled a grenade at a house.

The grenade landed in the courtyard of the building.

Levis rushed to thr spot and shifted the injured people to nearby hospital.

The blast shattered the windowpanes of the house and nearby residences.

An investigation is currently underway.
