Pakistan: Number of Coronavirus infected cases touch 193

Islamabad/IBNS: The number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan touched 193 on Tuesday.

Punjab region in Pakistan recorded five more cases on the day as it raised the number of COVID19 infected patients in the south Asian nation.

”Five pilgrims who recently returned to DG Khan have tested positive for coronavirus," Provincial Health Minister Yasmin Rashid said while addressing a press conference as reported by Geo News.

“All those testing positive have been quarantined at a facility," Rasid said.

“Right now there are 736 pilgrims from Taftan being monitored,” she said.

Pakistan's Sindh region has recorded  172 Coronavirus-infected cases so far.

Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab confirmed the matter on social media.

Coronavirus is believed to have first originated from China and then spread across different nations in the world.
