Madrid, June 26 (IBNS): The internet is presently busy talking about a new superhero and mind you he is not a human being but a police dog.

The dog, referred to as "Officer Poncho" of Madrid Police wasted no moment in saving the life of his human partner, which has been captured on video and shared on Twitter.

In the video shared by Municipal Police of Madrid on Friday, it can be seen that "Officer Poncho" performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on his trainer.

While conducting a training exercise, a police officer could be seen falling to the ground and pretending to lose consciousness.

It is then the black dog performs the action.

Poncho is seen jumping up and down on the officer's chest using his front paws to "revive" him.

He also checked whether the man is breathing by flopping down near his face.
