Roadside bombing Afghanistan's Zabul province leaves five people dead

Kabul/IBNS: A roadside bombing in Afghanistan's southern Zabul province on Thursday left five people dead, media reports said on Friday.

The provincial governor’s spokesman Gulsalam Siyal was quoted as saying by Khaama Press that the blast occurred this afternoon around 12:00 pm local time when the Da Afghanistan Brishna Sherkat (DABS) employees’ vehicle was hit by a roadside mine in Zeyarat area of Shahr-e-Safa district.

No group claimed responsibility for the incident so far.

Mohammadullah Amiri, the provincial police spokesperson, was quoted as saying by Khaama Press where he accused the Taliban of placing a bomb on the road in the Shahr-e-Safa district, which destroyed the vehicle, and killed the passengers.
