Xi Jinping writes to Pakistan president, talks of 'shared future'

Beijing/UNI: President of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Xi Jinping has written a letter to Pakistan President Dr Arif Alvi in which he has talked about a “China-Pakistan Community of Shared Future”.

President Xi described China and Pakistan as “good brothers” and partners.

Xi claimed that the two countries are working to maintain the “momentum of peace and development in the region”.

Dawn quoted the letter saying that Belt and Road Initiative (BRl) and CPEC is a landmark project which is of great significance to the further development of the China-Pakistan All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership and the building of a closer China-Pakistan Community of Shared Future.
