Modi slips to 2nd spot in Time's ongoing 'Person of the Year' polls
New Delhi, Nov 30 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has bagged the second place in the Time magazine's 'Person of the Year' ongoing poll so far with the Ferguson protesters leading in a vote by its readers.
Modi has garnered 9.8 percent of the total votes polled so far while the Ferguson protesters are leading with 10.8 percent.
The third place has been occupied by Wong, face of the Hong Kong pro-democracy movement.
Nobel Peace prize winner Malala Yousafzai and Russian President Vladimir Putin are placed fourth and fifth respectively so far.
U.S. President Barack Obama has slipped to the 11th position.
The annual poll, which is currently underway, is scheduled to end on Dec 6.
The poll’s winner will be announced on Dec 8.
