Powerful bomb recovered in middle Assam town

Guwahati, Mar 14 (IBNS) : Ahead of the assembly polls in Assam, security forces on Monday evening recovered a powerful bomb from middle Assam town Morigaon, police said.

The bomb was hidden in a box near a bank in the town.

Local people found the abandoned box and immediately informed the police.

Police had found the bomb inside the box and defused it.

The assembly poll in the state will be held on Apr 4 and Apr 11 in two phases.
