Karnataka GST authorities withdraw pre-show-cause notice served to Infosys, directs the company to respond to DGGI

Bengaluru/IBNS: Indian multinational information technology company Infosys on Thursday (Aug 1) announced in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges that the Karnataka state Goods and Services Tax (GST) authority has withdrawn the pre-show-cause notice against the company for alleged tax evasion.

New Delhi/IBNS: As India combats Covid-19, the demand for oxygen concentrators and other medical supplies has risen exponentially as the government uses all resources to increase oxygen supply. To ease this fight, the Union Finance Ministry Saturday reduced IGST (Integrated Goods and Services Tax) rate for imports of concentrators, an official statement said.

Normally as soon as, you are done with GSTR-1 and GSTR-2, GSTR-3 asks you to proceed for GST payments. But upto 31-03-2018 GST needs to be paid along with GSTR-3B Return filing. (Amendments: Which has now been extended till June 2018). One can also claim refunds by filing online all the applicable refund forms.
